Booked a vehicle through enterprise. We showed up at our pick up time at 0800 with six people and all of our luggage for them to tell us they do not have a car available. To their credit they ended up giving us a larger vehicle 2 hours later so it was ok.

When we stopped at a Thai restaurant in Jaco recently, we failed to spot the drainage ditch in the "parking lot" (the restaurant owner said the chain blocking the lot had been stolen the day before), and we damaged our rental car. Fortunately, the Enterprise agent in San Jose had suggested we buy the full insurance package, which cost $15 per day extra. We're so glad we did! Employees at the Jaco office showed up within a few minutes, we followed them back to their office, and were on our way with a new rental car shortly afterward. From the moment we called Enterprise to moment we left their office with a new car, only an hour had passed. The employees couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating.
